After months of gnashing teeth trying to decide on a good rod holder option I came across these on Amazon. There are no good options for clamping onto the 2-3/4" tower on the LS. And I really didn't want to cut a bunch of holes in my boat! I had two existing rod/flag holders and these turned them into 6 which is plenty for me. These Amarine holders are extremely well made and the angle between the post and the launchers are fully adjustable. $53, thanks Amarine!

Looks good. Thanks for the link. I might have to try it.

Will the rod butts rest on the fiberglass ? Or do they have the cross pin at the bottom ?
Is the underside re-enforced so the cup holder doesn’t rip out. There’s lots of pressure there as you troll.

Nothing touches the fiberglass. Cup holders aren't involved.

Sorry, my mistake. I thought they were sitting in a cup holder...

Yes you have to have a single existing rod holder for each unit.

@n1111z are you still happy with these rod holders? I like the look and have them in my basket at Amazon ready to pull the trigger.

Sorry for the delay. This is a great piece of hardware, comparable units at West Marine $150-$200. No complaints.

Mine just arrived in the mail. As advertised! Very solid and heavy. Thanks for the heads up. I will post pictures once installed.
