I had to change my profile after last week.
My wife was driving, so does that count?
We were trying to leave the anchor and Anchor-Caddie at the shore landing spot.

I disconnected the anchor line and the Anchor Buddie and put all the extra line inside the bag.

I told her to back up, but she didnt hear me. I couldn't hold the bag and had to drop it. The starboard jet sucked up about 10' of 3/8" anchor line. It stopped running. It took me a minute to figue out what happened. I thought the bag may have sank to the bottom of the lake. I tried to restart the engine and it was barely turing over. I went back to check the cleanout and sure enough I could see the line. I was able to fish the anchor out of the water with a pole. We limped back to the shore and I spent about 1.5-2 hours working on the boat. I was actually able to untangle the whole mess and save the rope. The line was wrapped around the shaft and basically filled the entire tunnel with rope. If I had not been able to beach the boat, I would have probably had to cut the line.

It was a nice spot up at Huntington Lake. I left the boat on the water overnight for 3 nights.

Nice pic's! You're luckier than I've been with getting the rope out whole. I've had to cut my rope experiences out. Taught me to keep a small enough knife on boat that I can get both my hand while holding it down into the hole for such events! ;)
