After a long dry spell due to numerous school events, birthday parties cold weather and mods that had the boat in pieces we finally made it out this evening.

This is the family picking me up at the ramp.

We made about a 12 mile run to have dinner.

Then we headed back near the house for some cold water swimming.

The Ram mount for the Dragonly works great above the dash

This was my first opportunity to try out lots of new mods. Here are a few comments.

The trim tabs made a huge difference cutting across other boats wake. I had the front end pushed down a little and except for one wake boat we barely felt the wake. It was so much smoother than without them. At speed the trim tabs would easily put the boat into a curve when adjusting the port to starboard angle. Small adjustments worked well.

The Mente Marine controller is mounted in front of the throttles. It was easy to use in this position. It seemed to always have GPS signal. I need to spend more time with it to fully understand it's benefits but it was very easy to use.

I did not get to test out the second bilge pump (Johnson Pump) as the bilge stayed dry for the entire trip. Which is awesome since we always had a lot of water in the bilge last year. I replaced or resealed every low thru hull fitting as I worked through my mods.

I really enjoyed being able to open the new stainless captive drain plug with two fingers instead of using a wrench.

When the family was picking me up from the dock I noticed how great the hydro turf looked and had to stop and take a picture.

I did have one big surprise. The drain I tapped for the swim deck cup holders is another path for engine cooling water. So instead of draining them the hose was pumping water into the cup holders. I will move the drain connection and update that thread tomorrow.

Glad to see you and the family out on the water making memories!!

That Dragonfly looks sweet! How does the screen look in full sunlight?

Congrats on a great first day out.
