You think this can be wet sanded and buffed? There is no depth to them nor can you really feel them. Looks much worse than is but I don't want to make it worse.

I have wet sanded much worse. It should come out. Just make sure to fix the thing causing the scratches first :p

Dirty bunks I suspect. First time it gets in the water this year Im bringing the trailer home and going over it. I wish I could see how far down the boat it goes.

Looks like dirty bunks. If you use reverse power to get off the trailer, you can easily kick sand and mud up onto your bunks. Additionally, out here in CA, we have lots of reservoirs and it is common to park on the dry lakebed while out using the boat. the benefit is that the parking is free, the drawback is that there's a lot of dust that settles onto the bunks while the trailer is sitting out there.

To alleviate this, I usually take an old towel and hit bunks a few times to knock the dirt out of them. I also use some liquid roller spray (or even silicone) to help lubricate the boat as it comes back on the trailer. I've also seen some guys completely back their trailer bunks under the water and then pull forward to the proper loading depth (again to rinse off the boards).
