Is a 3' X 5' flag to big for a 19? If you fly a flag/s, what size flag/s on what length of boat? Do you fly it while under way, cruising speed, WOT?

I fly 2 at all times high on my tower - a US flag and a pirates flag. Both are standard 12”x18”
No way I’d run a 3’x5’.

Your flag should be one inch long for every one foot of boat length. And your flag pole should be twice as long as the vertical edge of the flag.

for example, on our 242SE, the flag is 18” x 24” secured to a 36” pole.

I hope this helps.
