For anyone interested this was a dyi and worked out better then expected. Happy to share the process with anyone wanting to do the same.

Nice. Did you replace the whole dash?
 
Nope just unbolted and removed the silly phone holder and cut out the hole for the unit. If I had to do it all over again, I would have tried to remove the dash and cut the hole off site but I got it done as is.
 
@Cgeetter that looks great! What is that the G07? You have pics of where you mounted the transducer?
