i was cleaning out the boat and I found these loose washers and a wing nut. I tried to look under there but couldn't crawl in to have a good look because the boat is in my garage. I'll have to wait until I pull it out to have a better look but in he meantime what could these come from?

They could be just loose hardware from the factory I suppose but I was wondering if any of you guys might spot what these could go to under he helm area? I also but some pretty big waves and rough water while on vacation so I guess hey could have unscrewed from somewhere too.

Last month I picked up a new SX192. Second time on the water I found the same hardware that you did, in the same spot. In my case, the wingnut and washers came off the seat cushion.

Thanks for the info. I'll have a look at the cushions as I have them out of the boat since I foam washed it today with my pressure washer and things got a bit damp under the seats so I'm letting everything air out.

I also found this little black nipple/cone shaped rubber piece in my ski locker when I bought the boat. Never realized what it came off of and always figured it was just a rubber stop cushion or something that went in the drain channel around the ski locker hatch. When I washed the boat I found the same rubber piece and it goes on the center windshield as a cushion when it's resting on the other glass. Makes since because I never liked how easy the glass would flex and now that's solved by installing the rubber cushion. I guess it popped out or the installer forgot to install it lol.

You were spot on @WildBillF1 . Felt up there and sure enough just a threaded bolt and the other one was loose too. Tightened them both up fairly snug so we'll see if they back themselves loose again.

I'm late on this one, but it might be a good spot for some Loctite.

My bow handrails work lose on occasion. It's never fun to get up in the and tighten them again. Lock tite is a miracle worker...

I've had my boat for 2+ years then this bad boy shows up in the starboard bow under seat storage. Any ideas where this may have come from?

My guess is that it's likely from the bottom of the stainless bow rail. Give the rail above where you found the nut a little tug and see if it's loose. Mine have worked loose from time to time and I've had to contort myself up in there from the cubbie behind the helm to tighten them. The one on the Port isn't much easier as it requires laying down in the storage compartment and reaching up.

The pics of the washer and wing nut look just like the ones used to hold my seat back (cushion). They needed to be removed to access under the dash. That's where my amp is installed.

Pull the seat out, and reach your arm up behind the cushion. There should be 2 at the bottom of the seat back. If you take them off, slide the cushion UP to remove.
