Fresh water clean out

Hello everybody.I am putting the boat in a fresh water lake.do I have to flush out the motor with the hose.at the marina they said I did not.what do you think.the lake is lake Harris Leesburg fl.big lake.

Not required, but a good idea now and then for freshwater. If you are in salt, then it is a must, and then some.
