Hi Everyone--
This may be a silly question, but are marine fuses different from an automotive fuse (10a, 20a)?

Good question. There is such a thing as a marine grade fuse. Mostly the corrosion resistance of the metals used to make the fuses, ie..copper, brass. I wouldn't hesitate to use an automotive fuse in a pinch, I believe the issue would be the long term installation would lead to base material failure. here is an article I found that may explain further.
