I have two bilge pumps on my 2016 212X. One of them is the original one that checks for water every few minutes. I wired a float switch to it but haven’t installed it on the boat yet, my question is: Can I screw down the float switch in the engine compartment without worrying about the bottom of the boat? I will use small crews. Thank you.
