I have been using these for several years now. In my own opinion, they are the best that I have seen. They work great. @txav8r saw them at Broken Bow Lake this past weekend and wanted information on them. So, in case someone else was interested too, I am putting the information on here.

They are made by Tie Boss. They are the 1/4 inch ones.

(better prices may be found elsewhere probably)

I bent the hook that attaches to the fender so that it can't come off. I usually attach the other hook to my bimini, or a cleat, or a grab rail. This product includes the tool and the rope. I don't use any fender lines any more. I only use these. They stay attached to my fenders since the one hook is bent onto the fender.

I saw those too Travis and was curious about them. They seemed to work quite well and didn't have to occupy a cleat.

They really do work well, Pearce. They can - but don't have to - use a cleat. They are a touch expensive at roughly $15 each.

@HawkTX those are similar to what I have. The ones I have, there is nothing mechanical about them. There is no spring, moving parts, etc. It uses friction. I bet the ones you use are just as easy as the ones I posted.

I like the ones you posted. They are not as bulky.

Interesting.....the ones you posted didn't seem bulky in the picture. I haven't ever seen them in person though.

Thanks for posting them up @farrelltravis ! I like them. But I am somewhat concerned to use them against the hull off a cleat and I am not sure how low they will hang off a grab rail. I know anything tougher than gelcoat will scratch the gelcoat. But I saw you rig them and it was FAST! Like I told you, my kwik fender locs work well, but they can be hard for someone not familiar with them to rig and even I have the occasional issue with them. So always looking for a better mousetrap!

You are welcome, Mel. I like them too. I have never had any problem with the metal scratching the hull or the cleats. However, I don't really use them where they would have that possibility, as I attach the top hook to my bimini. However, I could see a new noodle mod coming on here.....! If you were to use the cleat to attach the top hook to, just cut about a 3 inch piece of noodle off. Then, slice it open, an there you go! Just slid that piece of noodle over the metal part, and I think you would be good to go.
