Great winter day in the Fl. Keys

Winter in South Florida, was about 50deg which is really like freezing for us. Headed out to a spot about 13 miles out on the gulf just outside of Marathon just my wife and I. Nearly caught our limit, 24 Spanish mackerel using live shrimp. Great day on the water. Had to stop a few times to get some of the weed out of the intake grates but not too bad.

super jealous. I was seriously considering another weekend trip to key largo next month. direct flights are $25 each way to fort lauderdale.....

$73 for direct, round-trip flights and that Monday is a Holiday, so don't even have to take time off from work...

Man, I only shudder to think what is going to happen after this Pandemic. Airline tickets and hotel rates I would assume would go through the roof with a lot of demand.... Although I could be wrong. Will just float around here locally in the boat

if it's anything like 2008/09 it won't happen overnight. We went to Disney World several years straight after 08/09 and it was never busy in May. We could walk right on most every ride or worst case was like a 30 min wait. We went like 2013 and it was nutso again. Went the last 2 years and it was absurd. 100+ minute waits for rides, even in Feb.....which allegedly was a "slow" month. I have friends that have been several times since the pandemic and worst case scenario is 70 mins for a ride. So, I don't see a snap back of any kind. Even once things return to normal I bet a large portion of the population will still have meager travel plans unlike pre-pandemic.

"A lot" is still probably a fraction of the amount of people that actually will travel. It'll likely be another banner year for boat/rv/atv/etc sales. Assuming we can all keep our jobs. LOL!
