Can the electronics not take direct water interaction? I would certainly hope something like a chartplotter could take direct rainfall without damage.
Makes senseThe garmin gps, yes! The jl audio radio, yes! The standard horizon vhf, yes! But the hatch down below is not water tight at the side vents, the horn, the cupholders just to name a few and water will get down there and down there is where my amps are and they definitely cannot take water! Hense the reason i would like to just cover up the helm
