I love my boat !! But I love my car also !!! Here is my latest project !!!image.jpg

Here is what she looked like in December of 2013 when I picked her up !!!image.jpgimage.jpg

Here is my baby, I don't have any better photos on my phone, I just happened to run across this photo on Arkansas Barns FB page. People are always stopping to take a photo of my moms barn, she just happened to have my truck parked there when this guy took the pic. '69 Chevy Custom C10 short bed, I've had it since I was 15 (about 25 years!)

People offer to buy it all the time, it could go through a car crusher and I still wouldn't sell it.

Yours as well.
I love just about all 1969 muscle cars and trucks. When I was a kid I passed up buying a '69 Chevelle SS and I wish I would have bought a '69 Camaro back then when they were reasonably priced...I still kick myself for passing on the Chevelle, and I could kick my Dad for selling his '71 Chevelle SS that he custom ordered new!

I would love to have a new boat but I would LOVE to have an old car. I love the lines on them. The closest I came was a stock 72 nova, it was the first car I bought. I kept it for about 2 years and moved on. My brother got me hooked though, when I was about 10 he had a 67 camaro that he beefed up and painted hugger orange. I remember riding with him in front of the high school one day and he hit it, everybody looking as we're smoking them and I just thought, yeah this is cool

I had a 1972 Chevelle :) wish I never sold it :(image.jpg

Here is a wagon we built in 14 days !!! You might of saw it on the speed Chanel in 2006 :)image.jpg

That wagon really does look familiar, I watch a lot of speed channel, used to anyway.
Was it on Pinks, or whatever that show was called?
I was living in MO at that time as well.

Good stuff guys. What is "mini tubing"?

My wife's uncle (uncle in-law?) has either a '67 or '69 Camero, he never drives it and would never sell it since he inherited it from his brother (the original owner) who passed away in the mid 70s. Now it sits in his garage under a cover, it used to be in his driveway, sometimes uncovered, until he finally got tired of coming home to see slips of paper under the wiper blade containing offers to buy it. I will post a pic if I can find/ get one.

Making it able to fit fat tires under it , is mini tubing it :)

Here's my 'sleeper' that I drove back in my senior year of high school (1979). In the time it took to go 0-60 you could take a nap.

At least you know that your girl friend, if you had one, at the time loved you for you. Is that an antennae coming out of the passenger side? If so, what it mounted on?

I had this thing about wood back then. That is just the stock antenna with wood slipped over the top. I use to plant crow decoys on the top deck and drive around town.
My brothers had Mustangs, Torinos and Monte Carlos. I had a Pinto.
