Went out on the Illinois River last weekend around Morris and saw 3 of these just wrapping up. They had for lack of a better explanation a fold up barge being pushed by these jet boats. Probably about 50-60 soldiers hanging around after a good day on the water! I've never seen anything like these before, anyone know what they are? Btw, thank all of you who have served past and present. 20230708_145616.jpg20230708_145616.jpg20230708_145616.jpg20230708_145626.jpg20230708_145616.jpg20230708_145626.jpg20230708_145632.jpg

Pretty sure that’s an Army bridge erection boat. I had never seen one before until I visited a company called Birdon in Connecticut a couple months ago for work.
Pretty neat boats!
