Thanks!

Hard to tell without seeing the back of the engine bay. Do you know if it has an external intercooler? If so, it's the 250. If it's internal, 200.

Upon closer inspection, pretty certain I see the intercooler hoses (the large black one). So likely the 250.

Ok thanks! The guy selling it thought maybe 300hp but I don’t think they made those until later. I’m looking at this used, only 40 hours, is there anything with this model I should be aware of or look for? Thanks for all your help! You’re very knowledgeable.

They actually had 300 engines that year, but this isn't yours. They look quite different but a big tell is that this pic has a catalytic converter and the 300s don't have that. Pretty certain this is a 250.

Nothing in particular that I know about. For engine stuff, look up what someone would check to buy a sea-doo, it's the same engine, tons of things you can find on that. I could write a list, but it would be long. lol you might as well look it up yourself.

The boat itself, check for the usual hull damage, loose hardware, vinyl condition, etc.

Scarab specific stuff is probably best ot post under that section of the forum fyi. Many Scarab owners don't monitor the general group. You can get more attention there. :)

Got it, thanks! I’m new here but will post in the Scarab forum going forward. Thanks!
