I went to pull out my surf board for the first time of the year and noticed that there is some severe damage to the top of it. It looks like someone dropped something on it. It is about a 4 inch circle, maybe 1/8 of an inch deep. Any thoughts how I can repair it. 20160709_114752.jpg 20160709_114738.jpg 20160709_114734.jpg

Hopefully @KXCam22 will chime in as he just built his own boards.

My friends who surf, not wake surf, often just use precut patches (material that looks and feels like transparent duct tape) to cover dings and dents to prevent the water from causing further damage but I don't know if what they do would work on such a large area.
