One thing that really frustrates me on this boat is the lack of access to the hull area. I can't make heads or tails as to stringer location, how they are attached to the hull as well as trying to figure out how the boat drains from front to back. Yamaha has installed so many liners it’s nearly impossible to see how this thing is put together. Does anyone have any diagrams and or assembly photos?

...figure out how the boat drains from front to back.
It doesn't. It drains from the back to the front and then through the changing room floor. Then it goes from a sponge to a bucket and then "drains" over the gunnel. A revolutionary new design.

Crack me up... My last day boat would would take on water through the rear self bailing floor drains due to the scupper valves being below the waterline. So I went from one water problem to another. However at least my Yamaha water issues can be fixed.

The dealer submitted my water issue to Corporate today.
I think that every email to Yamaha Subject line starts like this:
Customer Warranty Claim: Water not Draining from Boat
Never have they received this email:
Customer Complains of On-Board Plants Not Getting Enough Water - or -
Customer Installs Boat in House as Aquarium but Aerator Not Working

What sucks for me is that there's no Yamaha boat dealer very close. I had to drive Two hours to make my purchase.

I think I'm even more confused now. Why the heck does the water rise up into the pilot hole instead of draining down? I'll be very curious as to what Yamaha says, or if they just ignore it.
Thanks for finding that.

Based on the drawing it would appear the hull bottom and sides are pulled from one mold with no stringer system. It would also appear that the liner is also one piece and that is what makes the hull rigid? So, my guess is the liner is glassed to the hull and the outside portions of the hull/liner are foam filled to add buoyancy, sound deadening as well as strength. Lots of boat companies use fiberglass stringers rather than wood and have them injected with foam. If this is the case I guess I’m up in the air as to whether this is a good thing or a bad thing? It would be nice to see some assembly pics. They need to one of those Boston Whaler ads where they chainsaw the hill in two....
