Nate killed any chance of fishing this weekend so I decided to work on the boat. First mod was to fix the lack of cup holders and crappy plastic rod holders with a stainless combo unit.
Next was to add some much needed rod holders/rocket launchers. Also moved the anchor light up top. That goofy pole was a pain in the butt.
Got tired of having to cycle thru the speedometer controls to see battery voltage so I added two 12v and a 24v meter to always know what the house, cranking and trolling motor batteries are up to
I didn't want them hot wired and always pulling a slight load so I added another switch panel with room for more toys
I finally had enough of the stock straps bending my trailer lights and coming loose. Boat Buckles live there now
The buckles were awesome, the Chinese pot metal grade zero bolts were not. A trip to my local Fastenall saved the day
And I no longer have to do the wiggle dance backing the empty trailer at night or rocking the boat back on center from a missed pick up. Lighted guide poles for the save.
Now if only the water would go back down so I can go fishing next Friday?
