Hi, I’m putting in the single battery in my 2021 195s that I picked up in the fall. I’m planning to add a second battery, but for now it’s just one. There are four cables to hook up. One is red and clearly labeled “house.” The other three are black and only one is labeled negative. To complicate matters, there was a loose red terminal cap not on a wire and the red cable already has one on it. Shouldn’t there be a positive “start” cable, or does three negative and one positive sound right?
FWIW, I initially hooked them all up on face value and the electronics and blower all seemed to work, but I began to second guess myself before turning it over.

On my '21, I have 3 larger gauge grounds, one small gauge ground for the bilge and one red positive.

Well, I rolled the diced and cranked it up. No issues. I guess the house and starter cables must split at the on off switch.

Just hooked up my 2012 190 today, and I have 2 red and 2 black. If I remember right, the second red is mostly black, but had a red stripe I think.
