Is it safe to add Kilmat to the waterbox?

Was adding Kilmat to the boat and got a little carried away thinking that rapping the water box would be a good idea without considering the heat. Do you think it is safe or should I take it off?

I did mine too. I’m not sure if it helped much but every little bit helps.
