Is it typical for white smoke to come out the back of the boat?

I have a new 2015 195 Scarab. We've noticed smoke comes out the back lingering a bit near the swim platform. It is particularly noticable when RPM is over 5500. Is this normal, or does it indicate a problem?

Less concerning is my low oil pressure alarm. It came on one evening several times when driving and we weren't even going full speed. We stopped for dinner and on the way back the low oil pressure light never came on, and hasn't since. Besides the low oil pressure, no temperature lights came on. When I got home, I checked the oil levels, which are fine. I've read low oil pressure could mean a broken seal, but it hasn't come on since so I am not sure. Any advice is much appreciated.

On my last trip, we went wakeboarding, cruising the bay, out in the ocean (Long Beach, CA), then back for more wakeboarding. I think something got sucked in and clogged because we lost power above 10 MPH, but fortunately were able to cruise at low speed no problem. After crusing for 30 minutes at 5 MPH I was able to get the power back and back up to speeed, but by then I was already pretty bummed my boat was jammed. Does this sound like a clog, and what's the best way to unclog a scarab when on the water?

Lastly, at 24 hours, the wrench looking light came on, which I am guessing is a maintenance reminder. The maintenance reminder icon in the handbook is a triangle with !. Looking through the maintenance schedule, this appears to be for a 25 hours inspection. I just got my break in service at 10 hours so is the inspection meant to really occur only 15 hours later? Is this something I can do myself and find and press the maintenance reminder reset button, or do I really need to take it to a mechanic for an inspection?

Thanks everyone for any advice.

The white smoke you are seeing is the steam coming off the water that is passing through the intake grate (which is cooling the engine coolant) and then through the nozzle. There are some videos that @ScarabMike posted that shows what you should see during normal operation.

Low oil pressure light I am not sure, I have seen multiple posts about people having that problem.

As far as your maintenance light, at 25 hours that light will come on and your service needs to be done at your local BRP technician. I bought a CanDoo Pro which allows me to reset any maintenance lights or codes.

As far as the clog the only I can tell you is to keep a diving/snorkeling mask on board and you will have to get into the water to see if the intake is clogged. I hope I have answered some of your questions... I live in FL and the mask is NOT an option. You are at the bottom of the food chain when you leave the boat. Just say'in...
