Guest, we are pleased to announce that Hydrophase Ridesteady is offering an extra $100 off for JETBOATERS.NET members on any Ridesteady for Yamaha Speed Control system purchased through March 7th, 2025. Ridesteady is a speed control system (“cruise control”) that uses GPS satellites or engine RPM to keep your boat at the set speed you choose. On twin engine boats, it will also automatically synchronize your engines.
Just wondering if everyone here is from south of us, Canajuns. Love the jetboats we have a very shallow dock area less than 20", so my Yamaha is perfect.
glad to have you on board, update your profile with your location and it will automatically add you to the user map, it looks like we have a couple of members in Alberta, https://jetboaters.net/usermap/
Yep! Lots of us. We grew up in Toronto but moved to MD when my wife got a job offer we couldn't refuse and now are enjoying boating in DE.
I know there are a couple of members from the Toronto area and I believe a couple up towards the St. Lawrence...
I am from northern Alberta. Taking the boat to the lake this weekend for the first outing this year. The ice is finally gone. Our lakes are very low this year as it really hasnt rained or snowed for about 2 years. Glad I have a jetboat.

We love that area. We've been renting a cottage on Balsam Lake for the last few years. I'd love to buy a place there but the drive through Toronto is a major turn off. Where's your cottage? We will be up there the first week in July.

We use the 407 to the 404, as the $12 or so toll-charge is more than worth it for me to skip the traffic on the 401!
Our cottage is right across from the swing bridge on the opposite side of Cameron from Fenelon Falls. Been there 6 years now, and loving it. Small lake, but perfect for skiing and wake-boarding, especially on our side, which is almost always calm; if we want more space for a cruise, just go through the locks into Balsam or Sturgeon.
