Just wondering if everyone here is from south of us, Canajuns. Love the jetboats we have a very shallow dock area less than 20", so my Yamaha is perfect.

glad to have you on board, update your profile with your location and it will automatically add you to the user map, it looks like we have a couple of members in Alberta,
https://jetboaters.net/usermap/

and look at the FAQ for lots of great info,

There are a couple of us lurking around, but yes the vast majority of the membership is from south of the boarder... but we don't hold it against them ;)

I'm doing a whirlwind tour of Toronto, Montreal and Halifax in 3 days this week for work. Does that count? :meh:

I couldn't take the short boating season so I moved south! Formerly from 3 hours north of the border, now 3 hours south of the border!

I tried, I'm northern Wis. and also Alaska so I'm close in two spots. So if you are from Canada and go to Mexico, do you go south of the south border?:)

Yep! Lots of us. We grew up in Toronto but moved to MD when my wife got a job offer we couldn't refuse and now are enjoying boating in DE.
I know there are a couple of members from the Toronto area and I believe a couple up towards the St. Lawrence...

I'm from the Toronto area.

I'm in Barrie, Ontario. Glad to have another Canuck on the forum.

I am from northern Alberta. Taking the boat to the lake this weekend for the first outing this year. The ice is finally gone. Our lakes are very low this year as it really hasnt rained or snowed for about 2 years. Glad I have a jetboat.

I'm from Oakville, Ontario, boat at our cottage in The Kawartha's :)

Sylvan Lake water is low here as well.

I grew up in Winterpeg Manitoba but moved south many years ago.

I live in London, ON. We keep the boat in Sarnia, but visit the Kawarthas and I have a place in Tobermory.

@Derek Fosbury : is your profile pic the drawbridge on Cameron lake when entering Fenelon Falls?
Edit: correction "swing bridge"

It certainly is! My wife took that photo a few years ago. One of the best photo's I've got... I use it for my desktop background on all my devices :)

We love that area. We've been renting a cottage on Balsam Lake for the last few years. I'd love to buy a place there but the drive through Toronto is a major turn off. Where's your cottage? We will be up there the first week in July.

We use the 407 to the 404, as the $12 or so toll-charge is more than worth it for me to skip the traffic on the 401!

Our cottage is right across from the swing bridge on the opposite side of Cameron from Fenelon Falls. Been there 6 years now, and loving it. Small lake, but perfect for skiing and wake-boarding, especially on our side, which is almost always calm; if we want more space for a cruise, just go through the locks into Balsam or Sturgeon.

If anyone's going out on Simcoe or Couchiching let me know. It would be great to meet a few of you person!
