Hi Folks,
I’m looking at purchasing a jet boat!! I’m wondering if you can leave it in the water all season or if people generally keep them on a lift? Pros and cons of both? Thank you!

My 232 stays in the river all season. Everyone leaves them in here. Prob 6-7 yamahas in my marina alone plus another 6 or so on the river behind homes. All fresh water and we have no issues with any kind of growth. Inly the orange stained bottom at the end of the season but that cleans up quick

First year wet slipping. As long as you take the boat out and clean you’re good. Get a float switch activated bilge installed so you’re covered if she takes on water.

Oxalic acid will clean it right up.
