So I am currently purchasing a bay front property and want to purchase a Scarab 165 due to its size. I am new to a jet boat and have a few questions. Has anyone purchased a drive up dock on the bay for the 165? I need to get the smallest available drive up dock and marine/dock contractors have not be the most helpful on this subject. I am very limited on space due to I need to share the boat slip with the adjacent condo. My thought is to install a dock off the bulk head on an angle and have a drive up dock attached to that. Also has anyone stored their jet boat at the bay all season? With a floating drive up dock am I still going to run into problems with the salt water (I understand the boat needs to be flushed after each use).
