So I went to install my JL m10ib sub yesterday, when measuring for location, the port side lounge seat seems to interfere with the sub, I could possibly install it but the seat would definetly rest on top with a little pressure, which has me worried about seat getting rubbed through. Does anyone have pics of their install? I measured behind the table bracket and there isn't enough room. I went to the starboard side and if I install there it eats into the cooler storage. Before I do that I had a couple ideas. Has anyone put a sub on starboard side facing the helm? That area is greatly curved so I would have to make a spacer to allow flush mounting. That would give more storage for cooler and keep sub from getting banged by passenger feet

I had 2 JL 10's into the cooler compartment, and still had room for the cooler in it's original location (barely).

I did quickly graduate to a soft sided AO cooler and kept it in the head, but not because of the speakers.

Mine is 2011 limited s, there is only about 2.5 inches to cooler from wal, my sub is 6 inches deep

Using stock cooler? Mine was also a 2011 Limited S.

No, it's an igloo that fits the cutout in floor near perfect

Stock one is an Igloo IIRC, can't remember for sure. My JL's were only 5 1/8" deep says the google right now, so you should be close! Sorry, can't answer the forward facing question, I swear I've seen someone on here that mounted one there though.
