Well the wife and I drove to a dealer 2hrs away today to look at a new left over 2016 Deluxe. She fell in love so we are new owners of a 2016 Yamaha FSH 190. Will be shopping for a in-dash fish finder tonight. Should take delivery Tuesday. This will be my 9th, never owned a jet boat before. Can imagine it will take much adjustment.

Welcome and congratulations!

I have the same year & model. She is a pretty boat.

glad to have you on board, make sure to get a test ride to be sure it's operating up to your needs,

check out our FAQ tab for lots of great tips, especially about sealing up all the leaks on the FSH and think about some kind of cleanout plug lock,

Thanks guys. Gets delivered on Wednesday. Just ordered a cup holder tray from jetboatpilot. Now need to get a cover as well as a fish finder/gps unit

Welcome, i hope you enjoy your new boat.
Steering is not hard, just takes a little time to get use to.

Try to spend a full day learning how to maneuver at slow speeds and docking.
Best thing you can do is find a floating tied up buoy in the water away from traffic and do low speed mneuver / docking simulations to get the feeling for it.

If your wife will be driving, then you must get Trust Vectors from jetboat pilot, will save you from a few arguments in the water.
But for yourself try to learn without them first before installing the TVs

Thanks everyone can't wait for it to arrive. Will have just enough time tomorrow after work to break it in. And see if I have any of the leak issues :).... Need to pick up a fish finder/gps to install. Last bout I had just installed a Hummingbird Helix and really liked it. Looks like I will need to figure out the transducer mounting location.
