Probably our last longer trip of the boating season, today through Sunday at Lake Havasu with my Wife and her awesome parents. Nice sunset this evening, will post up lots of pics over the next couple of days. 20160915_191301.jpg

I'm jealous; I love being on that lake. The river is endlessly beautiful. Enjoy!

Thanks! It's a great lake/river, been boating here since I was born or 47 years now.

Dan, I had assumed Havasu was just a party lake. Guess I had that wrong?

It can be a party lake during spring break and other weekends, but it's normally in certain areas like the London Bridge Channel, Copper Canyon, etc. It's a good sized lake and then you can run up the Colorado River.

Saw probably the most expensive and fastest pontoon boat in the hotel parking lot, two 300HP Mercury Verados!!!20160916_072645.jpg

If I ever get rid of my Yamaha, I will replace it with a Howard 288 Sport Deck, damn sexy boat!20160917_081014.jpg

Thanks for the pictures; we get to Havasu every few years to visit some friends that moved from here, and they always get us out on the lake/river. It's a little different than New England. Such an amazing place!

You're welcome, we love it here as well.

We are trying to plan a vacation for Havasu during spring break of next year. Any ideas where to stay? We would love to get something by the water with a full kitchen that accommodates 7-10 people. I would like to find a dock/slip which has power plugs to charge the boats stereos system. Would be dull if we ran out of juice lol.

Any ideas and directions would be greatly appreciated.

Sorry for the delay in replying, was camping this weekend with no cell coverage. There are only a few places where you can stay by the water, as far as Hotels there is the Nautical Inn, London Bridge Resort, etc. There are some condos in the London Bridge Channel that are most likely vacation rentals.
