Lake Weiss info

Has anyone been out on Lake Weiss Alabama? My family and I are looking for a Airbnb lake house with dock, within a 100 mile radius from our home. Not a lot out there for the dates we want, distance we want to go and not $500 a night. That being said we found one that looks great on Lake Weiss but not alot of info on line about the lake, except its great for crappie and it can be shallow.

I’ve never been there but have camped up in the sand rock mountains that overlook the lake. All I know is the view is amazing that elevation and it’s known for icrappie.

Nice pic, I just found out Lake Weiss is in a dry county and a no alcohol ban is strictly inforced on the lake. So we canceled our Airbnb on Lake Weiss. My wife and I aren't raging alcoholics but I am on vacations if we want a beer or wine, I am going to have one. Also my moms side of the family is extremely against alcohol and can be very judgmental regarding booze. That being said i grew up around that mentality not a big deal but when I am on vacation, no thanks. The lake does look beautiful.
