Is it better to buy pre made or add my own LEDs to my stock cup holders. I don't mind wiring up the stock ones. I'm just looking the best results. Thanks!

I had a few forum buddies show me their retail 3 chip LED cupholders. I then decided three things. First, it wasn't attractive to me. Second, it wasn't bright enough, and third but not least, it was too direct being a ring under the lip of the cupholder. So I designed mine with totally waterproof strip lighting down in the cupholder. It radiates from there and illuminates up and out very nicely, without being direct and in your eyes. I like it, and I will do this on my second boat for sure! Only pic I have on here currently...forgive the hot pink!
