All,

I'd like to start by saying that I'm not trying to make ANOTHER LED install post, I apologize if this morphes into such.

I'd like to focus more on the, WHAT, not how. The equipment, not a walk through.

1) LED lights- what 'quality' did you use? How many LEDs/Meter is 'enough'? eBay has great deals but I'm scared that they aren't intense enough.

2) did you solder or use waterproof quick connects after cutting?

3) switch install - what type of switch? Do you like where you mounted it? I may attempt to replace the factory JVC remote with a plate to house new switches. Either that or by the throttles.

4) did you use the jumper approach similar to the factory wiring?

Sorry guys, I guess it did morph into a how-to.... :/

I was looking into Cup holders and interior, holding off on underwater for now.

These are the cup holder rings I used:

Here is the RGB lights (they are super bright, so bright that I bought a dimmer switch because the dimmer function on the RGB controller didn't go dim enough):

Here is the dimmer switch:

Here is the wire I used (soldered all the connections):

This is the RGB controller I used:

No switch as that function is controlled by the remote.

Hope this helps!

Just stay away from this $hit:

I bought two of these, thinking these are not very good quality, so I better have a spare :winkingthumbsup". Well, they f-ed up something in my LEDs so bad, took me several days of extra work of replacing fried/non-working parts and wire... I don't even know exactly what happened it was so weird :banghead:.
Wish I listened to smart people of this forum...
