Lifting Scarab 165
I am trying to reconfigure my old boat lift for my new Scarab 165 (18 foot). Can I use a strap on the back and the front ring to lift it? Is the front ring made for lifting?

The manual says to use straps against the hull and not on any boat hardware otherwise. I've also never seen anyone lift this by those eye u bolts. I'm no expert on this, but it sounds like it is not designed for this.

There actually is front lifting stands/gantry setups that uses the bow eye
