No the boat is a 2021, the pump is as it came from the factory

My 2019 pumps are that color. I believe 2019 was the first year Yamaha started putting the corrosion inhibiting finish on the pumps , intake grates , and skid plates ?

Howl do you like the CJS system?

I'm really impressed with them. I had the JBP Thrust Vectors and lateral thrusters on my previous boat ( 2016 AR240). They were fine but then Yamaha redesigned the pumps in 2019 for improved lateral thrust without the need for aftermarket products. I then went with CJS AK19 Magnum Deluxe and find it more to my liking. Especially low speed reverse steering which I must do each time returning the boat to my 10' wide slip / lift. It was a real challenge before on windy days but no longer an issue.
