On a 242 LSE or similar boat, where is the stock depth sensor located? Trying to figure out my true depth reading when out on shallow waters. Thanks y'all

Thru hull sensors are located in the engine bay. I find that in really shallow water they do not work very well.

I saw where mine was but I took a Measuring tape when I was out on the water to see actually how deep I was. Different boat though. In 3 ft of actual water I read on my Connext around 2ft. Which means if the Map shows 2' I am SOL, probably in a pinch. Mine is under the clean out hatch just outside of the keel.
