Great video, thanks for sharing! So great to see the passion and dedication to quality. There is not nearly enough of that these days with the 'disposable society' as they put it. Big thumbs up.
So many people/kids look up to athletes and movie/TV stars as role models. I believe these are some of the types of people that should be considered for that honor. True Craftsmen.
These boats have a layer of fiberglass with clear epoxy over the wood. Can't see it but helps the maintenance and care aspect as it essentially is a fiberglass hull.Absolutely gorgeous boats!
But then I think back to the Peterborough cedar strip boat we owned when I was growing up and I remember what an absolute pain in the ass it was for maintenance! And the incessant leaks because we trailered it! Oh, yeah, it would be worth decent coin now but... Give me my Yamaha!
Damn, that's brilliant! (I must have missed that at some point.) All the beauty of wooden boats without (many of) the maintenance hassles. These boats have a layer of fiberglass with clear epoxy over the wood. If you are really interested you can download the pdf of geougeon brothers cold molding. I would upload here but will find the link for ya as they do update it. Something else to add to my "if I win the Powerball..." list. (Probably still put it after the Ferrari Daytona and the Pilatus PC-12...)
