That's an end of the night strength Margarita! We do the same with frozen limeade except 5+ oz Tequila/1+ oz Triple Sec (basically use the empty 6 oz limeade can as measuring device) and then add a small teaspoon of powdered sugar. It gets rave reviews at parties and then trends more towards your alcohol blend as the night goes...

If you want to be fancy, my buddy calls a vodka/cran a "Cape Cod", definitely a nice refreshing beverage!

Not sure if anyone has tried Pink Kinky, it's per their website a naughty fusion of super premium vodka distilled 5 times with succulent mango, blood orange liqueur and passion fruit. I love mixing this stuff with white zinfandel, damn it tastes good!

Big difference with premium tequila's over what I also think is To-killya (jose cuervo). Check out the higher end Tequila's like Casamigos, Don Julio, Patron.

Night and day. I would not use these for a Margarita. Simple, over a single rock.

@latitudeadjuster - great mix/recipe. This is how we make margaritas. I have the margaritaville blender which adds the perfect amount of shaved ice.

I have two of the 3 you listed, I skip the Patrone.
Cuervo does make one on par with the 1942.
Of the 3 I would go Cuervo, 1942, Casamigos
I guess I have officially reached the Tequila snob status

We take a Carnival cruise once a year. Bar at the atrium serves up fantastic Margaritas. Tequila, Triple Sec and a twist of lime. I pour them from the glass into my Yeti tumbler or she'll make me a double in the Yeti. After a week of these little mind numbers, no hangover or belly problems. Just a week of drag ass tired. Can't wait to do it again!

Those Tequila, triple sec, lime joints are great and have minimal hangover if any. I got rocked by them a week ago when I was by the pool in Florida. Had to have my buddy drive me to get some food. First time in 30 + years I needed someone to drive me. Took a nap and restarted 4 hours later. Thank you Agave

Probably a painfully obvious answer to this question but: Are you literally adding only the Lime aid and booze or Lime Aid with water per directions for the normal Lime aid mix?

We had the neighborhood Cinco de Mayo party this year and Margaritas were the main course:

-Cut frozen lime aid container in half w/ half per batch (no water)
-Fill half lime aid container with tequila
-Fill half lime aid container with Corona
-Blend (shaved ice)

Easy and very repeatable at large quantities
