Marine Cell Signal Booster

Just curious if anyone uses a marine signal booster? Specifically looking at the Weboost products.

I looked into those a couple of seasons back....I figured I could get double duty out of it - in the desert as well as at the river.

But the price just didn't seem to justify it. Besides, now I just tell everyone I'm going to Death Valley and don't even try calling me.

I'm much more relaxed when the phone is out of sight, out of mind.

But I do realize that there are times you just HAVE to have a signal, so I bought one of these:

If I stand on one foot, on the roof, facing west, at 2:15 pm, I get a better signal...

Yea the price on these things is pretty high for me but given that half the summer I am going to work out of my fifth wheel and maybe even on water, I am really thinking about doing it but would really like real feedback from people.

Gotcha, sorry didn't mean to make light of your needs...I started a thread last year and @Magic came through with a suggestion you might find useful. I never followed up to see how it's working out for him, but I was seriously considering the unit he posted about.
