I was out on the local lake this week and saw a ton of various yamaha boats. Was anyone from this forum part of the yamaha crowd? I always want to ask if they know about the forum, but then decide not to.

In the SWAG section we used to have business cards and coozies. I got me some of each and just hand those out when I see a Yammy anchored nearby... Makes it darn easy--no writing involved.

So odd.. But good I guess. That means they havent had issues.. But they could learn alot from everyone on this site.

I have those business cards. Hand them out 3-4 times a year.

We were on Patoka over the weekend, but have Monroe on our list of places to visit this year.

WOW...use to live on Monroe about 30 years ago, nice lake, and I loved the little town of Noblesville. I'm sure I would not recognize it today.

That happened to me last summer when we took a trip to Lake Winnebago in WI. Yammies errywhere, but after I asked a few people if they're on the forums, and got weird looks like I was some kinda Yammie nerd fanboi, I stopped. :)

Probably not, I live in Fishers and it's all grown so much it's insane

Almost every boat was brand new I came across last trip to Monroe this year. Saw two 255's, it took one dude like 20 min to launch. I was waiting for a dock to load up and was watching him, he didn't seem to interested in talking after that. He didn't have his trailer deep enough

I didnt see anything that looked newer than a 2020. No 255's. Most had the older style of towers, but nice boats. We had a 19 footer parked next to us while we briefly docked and the woman on the boat was working on keeping their boat away from ours and she stated "your boat is much shinier than ours". Lol. I assured her that her boat was nice. It was clean, ran good, looked good.. Love seeing them all out there.

This weekend was the first time it took me more than 1 try to load (took 2 attempts). People next to us in a prop boat were lookin at us like we were lower than them... but we still got loaded and moved before them. Haha

Don't worry I forgot to undo my boat buckles and my whole trailer starting floating...lmao. First launch of the year and I guess I was rusty???

I typically stay away from there on the holidays but I'll be out there this weekend. Blue and white Scarab 195.

It was surprisingly not busy. Easily parked in the first main lot. About midway, and we didnt get there until 10am.

Are you taking about Morse Reservoir or Monroe? Morse is the one next to Noblesville and Monroe is down by Bloomington.

I was pleasantly surprised to find a 1/2 empty parking lot at Patoka on Sunday of Memorial day weekend. Even when we left I think it was only 3/4 full. Guessing the cool weather kept some people away.

I thought it was awesome. Pulled into the park expecting a huge crowd, ended up going straight to the ramp with good parking. Good day.

Another great day on the lake Saturday, and a ton of nice Yamaha's all over the place. I still haven't seen a new 252 on the water yet. I do notice that we get a lot of looks and points as we load, unload, and float by. Mostly from other Yamaha boats. I did hear one guy at the dock say "now THAT's what we need", even thought they had a nice boat themselves. not a Yamaha though.

Were you one of the 242s tied up together I saw in Allens Creek Saturday?

Nope. Wasn't even sure where that was until I just googled it. lol. We stayed solo, and closer to the boat ramp area and the no wake are on the other side of the bridge this week.

If we weren't camping at Hardin Ridge that's probably where we would've been hanging out. Since this is our first year with this boat we cruised around a bit until we found a cove where some other people were hanging out.
