So I will be relocating from NC back home to FL, specifically the space coast. Been looking at houses, and it seems like I've got two options, nice house or house with space for toys. Some of the houses in my price range could work but need like, 50k worth of renovations. Or I could buy a move in ready home, but wouldn't have the garage, pool, and storage I want.

Here in NC, we kept our boat at a marina. Its great, about 100 bucks a month, kept on a storage rack where I can do work on it, and super convenient. I know once I move, that won't be the same situation. I'll be having to flush salt out at he end of the day for starters so, I'll need space to run it on a hose and flush setup.

So what do you guys recommend? Having the boat at home would be nice, and I'm not opposed to renovations, but is there a good option for storage where it'd be on the trailer and also accessible for flushing?

We are on a lake, so quite different, BUT.....I love having the boat, all my cleaning supplies and equipment at home. I can do maintainance, wash, polish, etc. without having to move it. Also, nobody ever wanders around my boat like they might in a marina.
