MR1 issues

How long did it take to repair the ECM?

I started putting things back together and now the starboard engine won’t start. Turn the key and it just clicks. Smacked the ECM box where the relay/solenoid is with the handle of a screwdriver and it fired right up. I’ve got a new relay on order to arrive tomorrow. Guess I’d rather have this issue in the driveway than out on the water.

Relay showed up and it’s installed. Engine starts as it should. Engine bay is put back together and clean out tray is screwed down. Now it’s just a matter of getting it out on the water. Looks like Thursday afternoon is going to be the first chance we get.

Update

Went out today and engines fired right up, sounded normal and so far so good. Started the day off with cruising about 5 miles, hit the sandbar for a while and tubed after that. We plan on boating every day through Monday so I’ll keep an eye on the oil and listen for an irregular exhaust sounds. Hopefully these issues are behind me.
