I picked a set of these up to install on our 2021 195 FSH. Seems the transom is shaped that you can only install them closer to the jet than outboard like they recommend. Problem I've got is my transducer is in the way. IMG_3427.JPEG

Hello,
I have the exact same issue on my 195 FSH. Did you figure out a work around?

Remove the transducer and after the trim tab install move it to a different spot.

I actually contacted the company and exchanged mine for a different set that fit more towards the outboard side.

That's what I was hoping for. Have you had a chance to test out on the water?

They claim a higher top speed and a 11% increase in fuel economy?

  • 40% less Bow Rise and 35% Lower On Plane Speed – (Great for Tubing)
  • More Top Speed and No Porpoising or Chine Walking
  • Improves Handling and Smoother Ride In Any Water
  • Improved Fuel Economy (11% +)
  • Assembly & Installation In MinutesComplete assembly and mounting requires only a drill, a 3/16″ bit, and a phillips screw driver
  • The Integral design eliminates the need for wrenches
  • All components “lock” together with self locking clevis pins

Didn't notice any gain in top speed. Actually might've lost some on the top end, but I'm also using the middle position....can adjust them.

No matter the position they’re in I will lose speed. More drag when you bring the bow down so naturally you’re going to lose speed.

Bubbasuwannee, can you post a pic with the new smart tabs along with your transducer?

Ok, you sold me! I'll look at purchasing and reference you so I get the same product. Thanks!

Interested in what rpm it takes to do 30 mph with the tabs.

How well do they do at balancing out an unevenly loaded boat.

Haven't noticed any difference, but we're normally loaded fairly even, so I can't say that I've paid any attention to that.

Have you noticed any handling difference when in reverse? I'm thinking the trim tabs dipping below the transom have some impact in reverse.
