I'm new to this forum and have a 97 seadoo challenger 1800 .I have rebuilt both 787 motors but am having problems keeping them running in water .I also rebuilt all carbs with mikuni kits and set low at 1 1/2 turns out and high at 0 turns .seems like I faul plugs alot could it be the stock seadoo fuel filters .any help would be appreciated

I would doubt it would be the filter.

Key seems to be in the fouled plugs. Have you tried turning in the low? If you are getting too much fuel, you may have an incomplete burn that is fouling the plugs. Also check your air filter--make sure you do not have anything blocking air intake (on some of the Yamahas, they can get oil on the air filter and cause issues).

Thanks for the reply. No I havnt tried turning in low im set at 1 1/2 turns out maybe try 1/4 turn in just heard horror stories about stock seadoo filters
