what length do i need to order for throttle /reverse gate cables on a 2007 23 ft yamaha ar ho jetboat

I had not heard of the throttle cable needing replacement...how did figure out you need it done?

Haven't started yet apparently it is a reverse gate cable???? any way first trying to figure out how to get the throttle binnacle off -- our buddies who used to help us moved

Our son is working too much but hopefully he can help-- do you do your own work --- our experience with the yamaha places around here are not good the lost and stripped screws and scratched up the engine

Yes, use the search tool to find pictures from prior users sharing how to do it. It's very doable if you are handy with tools.

look in the faq tab the top of the page for 'loose throttles" it will show you how to remove the binnacle,

I'd disconnect it at the pump first and move it by hand just to make sure it's not the deflector causing an issue, many time members will get gravel/sand/stick stuck in the deflector causing it to bind up,
