Hello all,
After a day on the water (west coast of Florida beach hopping), I opened the rear hatch and found the tube above the cleanout port was completely full of water.

Is this normal? I pulled the plug and it all drained out.

Before we launched I checked to make sure the plug was in correctly.... Or was this just sea water?

Normal, either water will was over the back when you slow down or there may be a small leak that pushes water up,

Don't worry about it,

.

And glad to have you on board, be sure to visit the faq section for lots of great diy and boating tips

Thanks Scott! I have been reading on here for about a month while we waited for the boat.

Happened to me too and its fine, upon research do not plug the thing back when in storage. Only plug back before you go boating again - and remember to plug it back or you will have little trust (dont ask why I know lol).

ive had days where its bone dry, and days where its full for no apparent reason. check for tiny piece of grass that could let it leak in. that was my issue

I had my AR195 for a year and it’s normal. A steep angle at a boat ramp can cause this too. This weekend was the first time I sucked up bog moss and noticed lack of acceleration. Get comfortable pulling the plug out on the water so you can do it blindfolded.
