Hi all, I just picked up a 2013 AR192 with 99 hours on it. The boat is empty... I would like to replace the factory bow anchor, does anyone know the part number of that bow anchor? Is it a yamaha anchor or do they use a different brand or do you know one that fits in the bow anchor locker and works well? What items do you recommend I stock the boat with, including any yamaha specific items? Previous owner said he changed the oil. But he said that he did not change the spark plugs. How many hours do you run before you change your plugs? I will only be running the boat in freshwater in Utah. I just ordered the Wake Thrust vector package from JBP. I appreciate your help! Thanks!

Another Utah native here from Orem. There's a few if us here. Congratulations on your new boat! What lakes do you plan to boat on?

As for the spark plug/maintenance most do it seasonally. I change the oil and plugs every spring. Typically during winterizing when the engine is fogged, is when the plugs get fouled. You should look to see if you can find an owner's manual. You can try the search tool on here to see if you can find where someone may have posted it.

Let me know if you're after any watersports equipment. As a side hustle I own a online watersports company. I can make my BEST deals for locals if you want to pick up directly. I can discount shipping charges. I've got more stuff on its way over the next few weeks. No obligation, just throwing it out there.

@J-RAD I grew up in Orem and I am out on the other side of the lake now. Do you have any recommendations for a gelcoat repair shop? I plan to hit all of the lakes here in Utah and have a Powell trip scheduled for the end of May already.
the previous owner said that he changed the oil but not the plugs so I plan to do those. I also want to do the SVHO intercooler and possibly get a high altitude impeller.

@kennetht Thank You for the links to the amazon items!!! they are in my cart and will be purchased immediately.

I'm a Springville native originally. My wife was born and raised here in O-town. I had to have a repair done after contacting a dock at Powell. The company that did the repair was Williamson Ocean.

For impellers, I'd reach out to Impros. Glen knows his stuff. He did a pair for my AR240 and it changed my life!

@Btown801 You are very welcome! Enjoy the new boat!

Not sure how comfortable you are with changing the spark plugs, its very simple.
I changed mine in 2018, a year after I bought the boat in 2017 from the first owner. (I probably should have changed them right away after my purchase since the first owner doesnt think he ever changed them)

But I plan on changing mine every 2-3 years. I do not fog my engine during winterization, so my plugs wont get fouled. Some people change them every year, its all user preference really.

Anyways, reason for the post, here is a great video that shows how to change the plugs if your the kind of guy that likes video guidance. Start at the 18:10 mark
