So after burning up a bearing on my trailer on the way home Sunday evening, I knew it probably meant a new axle would be needed, also knew it would probably be tough to get an MFI axle and have it installed in time to leave for Lake Anna this Saturday. My good friend owns a boat shop & has been at it all day today, after picking up the boat and trailer yesterday where I had to leave it because Boat US couldn't get anyone out bring it was late Sunday on a holiday weekend. He's running into problems finding an Mfi axle to match that he can get in time to get it done by Saturday. So it looks like he'll be replacing both axles with a different brand. Anybody see any problems trying to do that?

No problem at all...people do it all the time.

Not a problem. Bolt them suckers on.

Hopefully they have the EZ-Lube spindles. Loved having those on my trailer. You essentially do a bearing repack with just a grease gun.
