I have had my boat for 3 weeks. Been out 4 times. 2012 sx210. 21 foot. Check engine alarm came on said engine was to hot. Ran the blower. Seemed to help. Then I started pulling a tube and every time I turned seemed like the opposite engine of my turn alarm went off. Pushed button alarm went off. Originally alarm went off for a long time. Oil level is good. Water is coming out side like supposed to. Water was not hot, warm but not hot. Battery voltage was at 12.5 (is that to low?). Once I stopped tubing and just drove for a bit alarm would sound again. Thoughts

If you drive in really shallow areas, or idle in water less than 3 ft deep without forward momentum, you can suck up sand into the cooling system. This can cause an over temp warning. I’d start by removing the water inlet strainers, and check for anything that may be clogging or obstructing them. Hopefully you haven’t ingested sand.

12.5 v with engines running is too low. You should see 13.6 to 14.5V
