Wanted to post this for everyone, I installed a second simrad unit that was in my FOV for personal preference. When I went to commission and calibrate the Simrad GS25 GPS Compass it continued to timeout. After disconnection both ends of Antenna and the NMEA2000 Backbone for 30 seconds and re-connecting, the system rebooted and I had no issues successfully completing the commissioning.
