4.6 heads on those years stunk. Get the heads worked over or upgrade them and get some cams and/or a blower. Open that exhaust and get a chip and you'll be there. Or be crazy like me and buy the turbo kit.

That throttle body is nice!
I miss my Mustang days...
Around me it's so busy you can't even enjoy a spirited launch from a stoplight anymore. It's part of the reason i decided to get the boat actually. Less congestion and more room to drive how I want when i want.
That and after going through 3 mustangs and not having garage space for it all i think i am done trying my wife's patience.

I sold my '99 Mustang GT years ago to pay for our 1st boat. I really miss that car, but it was still one of the best decisions of my life. My wife knows that once we are kid free there will be another fast car in the garage. Until then, we have my truck and her minivan

I had to do the same thing (except the minivan lol) when our kids were younger. Back in 2003 I got to have fast cars/trucks again, now that we are empty nesters it's Corvettes with seating for two only! I love my kids and grandkids dearly, but it's nice now that its just my Wife and I.
