Hi Guys,

I picked up my 2022 AR195 from on out of state dealer a couple of weeks ago and I still haven't received the certificate of origin. The dealer said he was expecting it after a few days to a week but now it's been 2 weeks and I still haven't been able to register my boat due to the missing certificate. Is this normal or should I be calling Yamaha corporate to find out where the certificate is?

I am based in central NJ (near Freehold) and the dealer is in Maryland. Sucks to have the boat in my driveway and not being able to use it.
Thanks for listening and looking forward to being a member of this community. Cheers.

When I purchased my 2022 SX195, the dealer registered the boat and trailer before I picked it up. Registration sticker was ready for the boat and sticker and plate were already on the trailer. Call customer service. Usually you can get right through, talked to them today. They break for lunch between 12-1 M-F ?

Welcome and congrats. Lots of good information about your AR195. Many users on this forum to ask questions and get positive feedback from.

Took me a month to get my registration and plates. I boated without numbers and stickers the entire time. Got inspected once by the local Leo’s and just showed them the new boat paperwork and they said “have a good day”. I wouldn’t let it sit, summer goes by way too fast.

Hi, I bought my 2022 a couple weeks ago (in NJ) and have a temp registration so no numbers yet. But out Boating!

I as well am picking up my new AR195 on Friday.

Can anyone tell me everything I should make sure that they are including? Want to make sure I am setting my expectations properly. So far, I think these are the things that "come with" the boat, what some dealers add, and unsure:

Come With:
Table
Table Stand
Cooler
Bow Filler
Trash Can
Review Mirror
Bimini Travel Cover
Surge brake lockout magnet
Wash out port adapter

Some Dealers Include:
Fire extinguisher
Shipping Cover
Tower down towing brackets

Unsure:
Coast Guard Kit

Anything I'm wrong or missing?

My sx195 came with two fire extinguishers, and the table leg was back ordered but they mailed it to me from the dealer. No CG kit, but I pre ordered that on Amazon. Mine didn’t include the shipping cover, but I purchased the black Yamaha mooring cover the day I picked up the boat. Everything else seems correct that you should get. Do make sure they give you the inside cover poles that holds the shipping cover tight so water runs off and does not pool when it rains.

I picked up mine last month, and everything with the exception of the Surge Brake Lock and the Port Adapter were included (and thtwo may be in the boat, but I didn’t know what they are). The fire extinguisher and a large bag with life jackets, air horn and a few other things were onboard. The tower down brackets are part of assembly so they will be on it.

My dealer gave me the shipping cover, as they went over everything and I also asked for it. Although a week later I ordered the mooring cover.

You will find so much storage! I did need to buy an anchor, I am a new boater so that was a surprised. I would also suggest a chart plotter GPS, as the Yamaha depth is just ok.

As I mentioned I am new, you may want to consider thrust vectors (available at jetboatpilot.com) as I have found the boat a bit difficult to steer at low speeds.

Good luck and have fun! Picture of mine, right after I got it.

I agree with the steering fins, I have Cobra Jet Steering (cobrajetsteering.com) on my boat. About $300 for a $1,000 worth of piece of mind and minimized aggravation.
Below is what I ordered and worth every dollar.
